More about me…
-
I am from Kansas City, MO and have lived in Denver, CO for the last 10 years. Over the last decade, I have worked at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado while focusing on various clinical research endeavors. My time in research has informed my curiosity of human behavior and my desire to want to work more closely with patients on an emotional and personal level.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Park University in Missouri, and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in the state of Colorado, actively pursuing experience to become fully licensed.

I believe that all of us are built different, and because of that, I like to work with clients to develop a therapeutic path that makes sense for them.
My favorite therapeutic techniques are largely pulled from humanistic and somatic approaches. I adopt an integrative lens, that heavily leans on theoretical approaches such as Gestalt, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and feminist theory.
-
Values-based approaches are a large part of ACT, and thus, I figured it would be appropriate to share some of the things that I find are most important to the way I live my life, both inside and outside of therapy.
Some of my most important values include (but are not limited to): integrity, inclusion, compassion, empathy, curiosity, authenticity, family, social justice, and humor.
